Samhain/ Hallowmass
7:30 PM on the 30th
For those that don't know where the temple is and you plan on attending,
e-mail us requesting directions. Also if you plan on bringing a
guest, let us know ahead of time.
*Items to bring:
*All those participating in the ritual
will want to bring a "protection talisman" to stabilize
and protect what you may have gained this year.
* Dishes to bring: Please bring one of the dishes below, or a potluck
dish for the feast afterwards.
Apple Stuffed Acorn Squash
Both squash and apples are great Samhain foods. They go well together.
Colcannon
An Irish dish for Halloween, with potatoes and kale.
Molasses Sugar Cookies
The tangy flavor of molasses, cloves and ginger make these perfect
autumn cookies for Samhain.
Old-fashioned Pumpkin Pie
A sweet and delicious way to use those up all that pumpkin. What
could be more traditional?
Spicy Pumpkin Fudge
Here's an unusual way to use pumpkin, once you get sick of the usual
pies.
If you get a chance, let us know what dish you are bringing,
